Amy Switzer begins her first season with the Cougars as assistant coach.
Switzer spent last season as a graduate assistant at Ohio University, where she handled much of the recruiting correspondence, as well as travel arrangements and player development.
A native of Monroe, OH, Switzer played four years for the Bobcats. The midfielder played in eight games to start her collegiate career at Ohio before suffering a season-ending knee injury. Switzer then played in six matches as a sophomore before spending most of her junior and senior seasons as a starter. She finished her career with 24 starts and 46 games played.
Switzer holds a coaching license through the NSCAA.
