Caden Albert joined the Charleston beach volleyball staff in 2026 as an assistant coach.
Albert most recently served as the head varsity boys volleyball coach at Frederick Douglass High School in Kentucky. Albert helped to build the foundation of the boys’ volleyball program in 2024 and ultimately transitioned to a KSHAA sport in spring 2025. He also served as an associate head coach for the girls' program.
A 2023 Charleston grad, Albert served as the president of the men's club volleyball, leading the team to CofC's first NCVF Tournament in Kansas City. While at Charleston, he also served as a volunteer assistant with the indoor program. Albert served as a graduate assistant with the Morehead State indoor and beach programs following his graduation.
Albert earned his undergraduate degree from Charleston in secondary education and English before earning his master's degree from Morehead State in sport management.
