Biography
Prior to Charleston (Central Arkansas)
Career:
- Comes to Charleston after 39 wins at Central Arkansas
- Helped lead the Bears to 50 wins over those four seasons in the Southland and ASUN conferencesÂ
Senior (2023):
- Finished the season 5-23 playing primarily courts two and three
- Picked up a win at the top court at the LSU Invitational over Tulane 21-15, 21-16
- Went 3-1 between April 1 and April 7 with wins over New Orleans, Hendrix and Stephen F. Austin
- Picked up a win on court two over Lindenwood March 17 (21-10, 21-12)
- Four of her five wins came in straight sets
Junior (2022):
- Went 13-16 overall playing primarily on courts two and three
- Had a seven-match win streak March 11 through March 24, all coming in straight sets
- Went 3-1 at the LSU Invitational with a pair of straight-set victories to close the regular season
- Swept in 11 of her 13 wins on the season
Sophomore (2021):
- Finished the season 18-15 overall playing all 33 matches at the third and fourth courts
- Earned All-Southland Second Team honors
- Picked up four wins on court three
- Went 14-10 on court four and won three of her final five matches
- Started the season with four-straight wins, all in straight sets
- Collected a three-set win over her No. 20 Tulane counterpart 21-18, 17-21, 16-14
Freshman (2020):
- Went 3-1 at the Shoals Beach Bash with wins over North Alabama, Hendrix and Huntingdon
- Made her collegiate debut with a three-set 18-21, 25-23, 15-8 win versus UNA
- Won her final two matches in straight-sets
- Part of a Central Arkansas team that went 7-1 before the COVID shutdown
High School & Prep:
- Helped guide Fauquier HS to 4A state quarterfinals in 2018
- Team Captain in 2018
- First Team All-District and All-Region in both 2017 and 2018

- Daughter of John and Corinne Oravec
- Mother, Corinne, played volleyball at George Washington
- Father, John, played baseball at George Washington
- Brother, John, was a track & field athlete at Cornell
- Getting a Masters in Communication at College of Charleston
