2016 (Senior): Started 19 games for the Cougars in goal, logging 1741 minutes on the year (2nd-Most CofC History) ... Named a Second Team All-CAA Selection ... Broke the College of Charleston record for most saves in a career at 280 ... Made 76 saves and picked up 7 shutouts en route to a 0.98 GAA and a .800 save percentage for the season ... Between August 26 and September 15, posted a shutout streak of 532 minutes, 15 seconds, the third-longest such streak in school history ... Posted a season-high eight saves at home against UNCW ... Finished her CofC career ranked third in shutouts (13), fifth in GAA (1.38), and third in save percentage (.791)

2015 (Junior): Appeared in 17 games, with 13 starts… She accumulated a team-high 1198:06 minutes in net, with 72 saves and a save percentage of .837, and a record of 6-5-1. She recorded five shutouts. 

2014 (Sophomore): Appeared in 18 games - starting in 13 of them - posting a 5-10 record.. Made 90 saves on the year while allowing 25 goals for a 1.64 goals against average... Tallied 1372 minutes between the pipes... Recorded two complete-game shutouts

2013 (Freshman): Gained invaluable experience and displayed her athleticism and competitive drive which will continue to be vital to the Cougars… appeared in six matches, all of which she started, and five of which she played the entirety of the match… logged over 500 minutes in goal… made 42 saves on the season and posted a .724 save percentage.

Before Charleston: Played club for seven years with South Carolina United FC Elite and four years with Blythewood High School varsity… served two years as a captain of her high school team… named HSSR all-state and all-region in both 2011 and 2012 and all-area in 2011… named the 2012 defensive player of the year... set the record for most shutouts in school history… led the squad to the playoffs every season… led her club team to the state championship in 2012.
 
Personal: Daughter of Keith and Lisa Killian... born October 18, 1994… has four step sisters and one step brother… favorite athlete is Serena Williams.

Club Coach Phil Savitz on Killian: “Lauren Killian is a very well rounded, technical and athletic goalkeeper. She is one of the top shot stoppers I have been around in my many years of club soccer. With the great coaching I know she will receive at CofC, she will have the opportunity to fine tune her game and really take it to the next level. Lauren has been the only GK on her club team the last two years and has played virtually every minute of every game which speaks volumes about her toughness and durability! We wish Lauren Killian all the best next year and beyond and will be following her career with great interest.”
