Before CofC: Earned three varsity letters at Tuscarora High School … played left back on the PWSI Courage Red 96 Girls … 2013 ODP International trip to Italy with the Virginia state team … member of the Virginia state team 2012-14.

Personal: Earned an academic letter her sophomore year … named to the A and B Honor Roll through her junior year … loves outdoor activities including hiking and running.

Michner on Umstead: "Stephanie is a teammate of CofC signee, Sara Deutsch. She plays for a very good team that has won the Virginia state championship. She has also represented the Virginia state ODP team at regional events. Stephanie is a versatile player that will compete for time at attacking midfield or as a wide forward. She is technically sound on the ball and will help us create many chances on goal. She comes into a crowded midfield corps at CofC in 2015 and will give us great depth immediately. We know she will represent us very well throughout her career at The College."
