Junior (2015): Indoor T&F - Appeared in four meets for the Cougars, competing in the 400m, 800m and 4x400m relay ... Hit a personal best in the 400m at the ETSU Bucaneer Invitational with a time of 1:03.52 ... Achieved a PR in the 800m with a time of 2:26.65 at the same event, grabbing a 12th place finish ... Outdoor T&F - Appeared in six meets for the Cougars, competing in the 200m, 400m, 800m and 4x400m relay ... Accrued two top-five finishes over the course of the season, headlined by a second place finish in the 4x400m relay at the Palmetto Classic with a time of 4:17.85 ... Sophomore (2014): Kicked off her season with a 16th place finish at the home-hosted Palmetto Classic …Made her first appearance in the top-10 at the UNC Wilmington Seahawk Invitational where she finished fifth as a member of the 4x400 relay team…Posted back-to-back 11th place finishes in the 400 meter dash at the Carolina Cup and the USC Outdoor Open, running 1:03.86 and 1:04.75, respectively.
High School: Earned four Varsity letters…Named team captain her season season…Set a sprint medley relay record at Indoor Nationals in 2010…Also posted a 4x4 relay record at the Meet of Champions in 2010…Was named Athlete of the Week in 2009…A two-sport athlete, Alexa also played Field Hockey for two seasons…Equally strong in the classroom, Alexa was a National Honor Society member…Named student of the month in 2010…Awarded the Super Chief Award for Academic and Athletic Excellence her freshman and senior seasons…Made the Principals List…Given the Burlington County Times teen excellence award in 2012…Member of student council at Cherokee H.S….Was a member of Peer Leaders, the Core Values Committee, the German National Honor Society, German Club and Class Advisory Board….Also involved in numerous philanthropic causes, including Charity Walks, Goodwill Donations as well as helping to lead a fundraising campaign for those affected by the 2011 Alabama tornado.
