Senior (2014/15): Cross Country - Competed in six meets for the Cougars on the season ... Achieved three top-four finishes among her teammates over the course of the year, including her season-best performances in the 5k and 6k at the CofC Invitational (18:54.3) and CAA Championship (23:12.51) respectively ... Indoor T&F - Appeared in three meets for the Cougars, competing in the 3000m and 5000m runs ... Finished fifth overall in the 5000m run at the Bob Pollock Invitational with a time of 19:07.93, her season-best performance ... Outdoor T&F - Appeared in seven meets for the Cougars, competing in the 1500m, outdoor mile, 5000m, 10000m and distance medley relay ... Pulled off a personal best time (38:22.27) in the 10000m run at the XIX Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational, finishing sixth overall ... Ran a 18:27.00 in the 5000m run at the Georgia Tech Invitational, coming within a mere six one-hundredths of a second of setting a new PR

Junior (2013/14): Posted a third place team finish at the Cougars’ inaugural CAA meet, the Towson Invitational, with a time of 18:48.10…Looked sharp at the Moutaineer Open, posting a 5K time of 19:25.40 en route to a fourth place team finish…Rounded out her season with a 37^th place finish at the CAA Championships, where she posted a 6K time of 23:55.21…Contributed well to the track and field team where she posted new 1500m and 3k PRs…Finished third in the 5k at the Weems Baskin Invitational with a time of 19:03.83…Checked in with a second place finish in the 5k at the Gamecock Invitational with a time of 18:33.26.

Sophomore (2012/13): In her first year in the maroon and white, Sams competed in (insert number) meets…Earned an eighth place finish at the home-hosted CofC Invitational with a 5K time of 19:47…Claimed a third place team finish at the Winthrop Invitational, finishing 59^th out of 251 runners…Continued to impress at the Charlotte Invitational, finishing the season’s first 6K with a time of 23:58.70…Finished the Will Wilson Citadel Invitational 14^th overall, running the Laurel Hill Plantation course in 18:51.03…In perhaps her best performance of the season, Sams came up big at the SoCon Championships with an impressive mark of 18:45.14 to finish 44^th overall.

Freshman (2011/12): Competed in seven meets for the Cougars in the 2011 season...Best finish of the season came at the Citadel Invitational where she finished in ninth-place. Season-best time came at SoCon Championships, where she finished 43^rd in 18:32.

High School: 9^th place in at 2008 Cross Country State Championship…3200 meter school record...4X800 school record...4X1600 and Distance Medley Relay records...Named team MVP senior season.
