Honors: CAA Female Track Athlete of the Week (2015)

Senior (2014): Cross Country - Competed in three meets over the course of the season ...Headlined her season at the Coastal Carolina Invitational with a 16th overall finish, crossing the finish line with a time of 20:29.71 to rank fifth among her teammates ... Logged her season-best 6k time (23:16.6) at the NCAA Southeast Regional Meet to finish 181st overall ... Indoor T&F - Appeared in four meets for the Cougars, competing in the 800m, mile, 4x400m relay and distance medley relay ... Accrued five top-five finishes over the course of the season, headlined by a second place finish in the DMR at the ETSU Bucaneer Invitational ... Ran third leg for the distance medley relay squad that broke the school-record at the UCS Invitational with a time of 12:10.70, finishing fourth overall ... Outdoor T&F - Appeared in six meets for the Cougars, competing in the 400m, 800m, 1500m, outdoor mie, 4x400m relay and distance medley relay ... Totaled six top-five finishes over the course of the season, headlined by a second place finish in 1500m run at the UNF Spring Break Invitational ... Won CAA Female Track Athlete of the Week following her performance at the Georgia Tech Invitational, where she broke the CofC school record in the 800m with a time of 2:09.82 to finish sixth overall ... Shaved over two full seconds off of her PR in the 400m dash with a time of 57.16 ... Achieved a personal best 1500m time (5:00.99) at the Florida Relays to finish 12th

Junior (2013): After battling through injury during the early part of the 2013 cross country season, McMahon returned to form at the Cougars’ inaugural CAA meet, the Towson Invitational, where she posted a seventh place finish with a time of 18:20.06…Continued to improve at the Mountaineer Open where she posted a 5K mark of 18:45.91…Was fantastic at the CAA Championships, finishing 22nd overall with a 6K time of 23:19.80…In the opening event of the 2014 track and field season, McMahon was sensational, winning the mile event at the Joe Hilton Invitational…McMahon repeated the feat just one week later where she also won the mile event at the Tar Heel Open…At the Weems Baskin Invitational, McMahon won the 1500m run with a time of 4:44.77… Was a member of the record breaking distance medley team who shattered the previous school record at the Florida Relays, running 12:10.65… Was also a member of the record breaking sprint medley team who bested the previous school record of 12:25.45 with a 12:10.65 display at the Florida Relays…Laid down a collegiate best in the 800 meters at the Gamecock Invitational with a time of 2:13.94…At the CAA Championships in Harrisonburg, Va., McMahon ran the top qualifying mark in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:12.71…Also finished eighth in the 1500 meter run at the conference championship with a time of 4:43.90.

Sophomore (2012): Consistently the team’s top performer, McMahon finished fourth at the Gamecock Invitational with a 5K time of 18:51.10…Claimed top honors at the home-hosted CofC Invitational with a sensational time of 18:20…Placed 15th out of 251 runners and claimed top team honors at the highly-competitive Winthrop Invitational with a time of 18:44.33…In her first 6K of the season, McMahon finished first amongst her fellow Cougars at the Charlotte Invitational helping The College to a 19th place finish…Laid down an impressive fifth place overall finish at the Will Wilson Invitational, finishing the 5K Laurel Hill Plantation course in 18:08.40…Finished 27th overall at the SoCon Championships with a time  of 18:25.31.

Freshman (2011): Competed in six meets for the Cougars during the 2011 season...Best finish came at the CofC Invitational, where she finished in sixth-place. Season-best time came at the SoCon Championship, where she finished 24th in a time of 18:04 for the 5K race...Was named to the SoCon All-Freshman team for performance at the meet.

High School: Fifth-place in state indoor meet in 1,500-meters and participated in prestigious Millrose Games at Madison Square Garden.

Personal: Hayley is the daughter of Sean and Juanita McMahon...She has three sisters and one brother...Two of her sisters went to college for running (Sheena-Syracuse and Jolene Manhatten College).
