Became the tenth-fastest 6k runner in program history with a time of 22:53.26 at the Furman Classic, taking 33rd overall ... Indoor T&F - Appeared in five meets for the Cougars, competing in the mile, 3000m and distance medley relay ... Sophomore (2013/14): Limited by injury, Kostka steadily improved throughout the season, earing top-30 honors at the Mountaineer Open with a time of 19:40.88...Showed well at the CAA Championships, finishing 45th overall with a time 24:38.56…Was a solid contributor to the track and field team where she posted a new 5k and 10k PR at the Shamrock Invitational… Was a member of the record breaking distance medley team who shattered the previous school record at the Florida Relays, running 12:10.65…Dominated the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a time 11:41.24 at the Gamecock Invitational…Finished in eighth place in the 1500 meter run at the CAA Championships.
Freshman (2012/13): In her first year as a Cougar, Kostka was one of the team’s top-performers…Finished seventh at the home-hosted CofC Invitational with a 5K time of 19:34...Continued to perform well at the highly competitive Winthrop Invitational, claiming a fourth place team finish with a time of 19:44.83…Notched a second place team finish (13th overall) at the Will Wilson Citadel Invitational, finishing the Laurel Hill Plantation course in 18:49.75…Finished 48th overall at the SoCon Championships with a time of 18:57.81.
