Track and Field Events- Pole Vault 

2006- Earned a third-place finish at the SoCon Championship in the pole vault with a height of 3.40m...finished fifth at the Big South Indoor Invitational with a 3.20m mark...finished ninth at the Tiger Invitational with a height of 3.35m

2005- Set the school record in the outdoor pole vault with a mark of 10-06.00 at the SoCon Outdoor Championship...set the school record in the indoor pole vault with a 10-00.00 mark at the Clemson Invitational...finished the season with nine top-eight finishes...earned a first-place finish at the Furman Invitational...placed second at the Charleston Southern Invitational with a high of 9-11.75 in the pole vault...finished third at the Chanticleer Classic with a mark of 9-06.25...had a fourth-place finish at the Furman Invitational in the javelin with a distance of 89-07...

High School- Was a three-time state champion at the Donoho School in the pole vault...was the Alabama 1A state record-holder with a height of 9’0” in the pole vault...

Personal- born Brooke Summer Chambless on June 6, 1986 in Montgomery, Ala...is the daughter of Frank and Laurie Chambless...majoring in biology...was a member of her high school Biology and Spanish Clubs...was a member of the National Honor Society...chose CofC over Rhodes College and Furman...plans to be a biology teacher and pole vault coach...goals to qualify for Regionals and be the SoCon Pole Vault Champion.
