#articleRelated { display: none !important; } Ashley Arnold finished 64th to lead Cougar runners at the NCAA Regional Cross Country meet in Greenville, N.C. on Saturday.

Arnold ran a 22:05.7 to lead to finish in 64th place in her first NCAA Regional. Arnold finishes a successful freshman campaign that saw her record the top finish ever for Cougar runners at the SoCon Championships. Arnold was named Southern Conference Freshman of the Year.

Kyle Palmquist finished with a time of 23:22.2 in the women's 6k and Michael Rella came in at 34:51.9 in the men's 10k that took place at Overton's Lake Kristi.

Arnold, Palmquist and Rella will all return next season for the Cougars after being the anchors on one of the most successful seasons in Cougar Cross Country history.
