#articleRelated { display: none !important; } Winthrop won the doubles matches and five of six singles matches to take the 6-1 decision this afternoon at the new Winthrop tennis center in Rock Hill, SC.

The match was a lot closer than the final score indicated as two singles matches went three sets and a third match had a tie-breaker first set. Cougar Jenna Marks won at six singles by default after winning the first set 6-0.

The Cougars travel to Charlotte Feb. 22nd for a 10:00 AM match.
