#articleRelated { display: none !important; } College of Charleston captured all three doubles matches and all six singles bouts, dealing Elon University a 7-0 setback in Southern Conference women's tennis action Friday afternoon at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.

The Cougars (8-4 overall, 3-1 SoCon) received doubles victories from Gabriela Moreira and Lauren Stewart at No. 1 (8-4 against Evin Prelec and Kelly Fleck), Rachel Magory and Maxine Capewell at No. 2 (8-2 over Elizabeth Kernodle and Melissa Holland) and Priscilla Roberts and Jenna Marks at No. 3 (8-2 versus Molly Cade and Alli Benton).

In singles play, Magory ousted Prelec 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1, Moreira outdueled Fleck 6-4, 6-2 at No. 2, Capewell dispatched Kernodle 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3, Chelsea Albertz decisioned Holland 6-2, 6-2 at No. 4, Stewart defeated Cade 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5 and Roberts beat Benton 6-1, 6-2 at No. 6.

College of Charleston and Elon (3-7, 1-5) will both travel to Charlotte, N.C. to visit Queens College in upcoming action. The Royals will host the Cougars at 1 p.m. Saturday before entertaining the Phoenix at 1 p.m. Monday.
