
CofC Men's Tennis Announces 2007 Spring Schedule

Three matches against NCAA Tournament participants from 2006 and 11 home matches highlights the 2007 College of Charleston men's tennis schedule.
The Cougars begin the season playing seven of its first ten matches at Patriots Point. Charleston opens the season by hosting North Florida on Feb. 3. CofC also hosts 2006 NCAA Tournament participant, Winthrop, on Feb. 14 and in-state foe, Charleston Southern, on Mar. 13.
In Southern Conference action, CofC plays host to Appalachian State and Wofford. The conference home schedule will also include hosting a match against the defending SoCon champion, Furman, on Apr. 1. The Cougars will travel to league foes Georgia Southern, Chattanooga, UNC Greensboro, Davidson and The Citadel.
The Cougars' non-conference home slate includes matches against Hampton, Florida A&M, Illinois State, Jacksonville State and NCAA Tournament participant, South Carolina State.
CofC will play one non-conference road match against East Carolina on Mar. 25. The Southern Conference Tournament is in Charleston at the Earle Tennis Center from Apr. 19-22 and hosted by The Citadel.
