CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston men's tennis team (9-4, 2-0) earned a hard fought 4-3 victory over Drexel (9-2, 0-1) at the Turner Tennis Center on Tuesday evening.

The Dragons won all three doubles courts and took a quick 1-0 advantage.

In singles, Jakub Solarski jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead on court one before his opponent retired. Dani Farran then cruised by his opponent on court five (6-3, 6-1) to put Charleston in front 2-1, while Jake Smith won 6-4, 6-2 in slot No. 4 to increase the Cougars' lead to 3-1.

The Dragons won court three to cut their deficit in half, but Leon Harder grinded out a 6-4, 6-4 two-set win in slot No. 2 to clinch the match for CofC.

Drexel won court six to make the final score 4-3 in favor of the Cougars.
