CofC Women's Tennis Defeats Bucknell, 6-1

The College of Charleston won all but one singles match and swept the doubles to take the 6-1 victory over the Bucknell Bison in women's tennis action this afternoon at the tennis center at Patriots Point in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
The College of Charleston improves to 5-7 on the year, while Bucknell drops to 2-2.
Charleston swept all three doubles matches to take the doubles point and took all but one singles matches in straight sets. The lone loss was at number six where Kelsey Darnell fell to JoAnna Grossman 6-4, 6-2. Albertz played at number one for the first time this season and defeated Veronica Brown 6-4, 6-2.
The Bison travel to Charleston Southern Wednesday, March 15th for a 1:00 PM match with the Bucs, while the Cougars host Southern Illinois at 2:30 PM.
