USC swept all three doubles positions, first winning at the second slot by an 8-2 score thanks to Miljiana Jocic and Natasa Vuckovic. Gira Scholfield and Ana Marija Zubori, the national's No. 9-ranked duo, beat Laura Borza and Link Leskosky 8-3 to clinch the doubles point. Soon afterward, Kinsey Casey and Anna Lee Evans fell to Megan McGavock and Suzanna Mansour 8-4.
The Gamecocks jumped out to 4-1 leads at one, three and four singles. Zubori closed out her first set 6-1 against Leskosky at the top position and then won 6-4 in the second. Mansour won 6-3 over Evans at No. 4 singles and then closed out the match 6-1. Jelena Rajic gave the Gamecocks their second win of the season after beating Holly Dowse 6-1, 1-6, 6-1.
Vuckovic pushed the score to 5-0 after coming back from a 6-3 loss to Borza. After losing the first 6-3 to Borza, Vuckovic rebounded with a 6-2 win in the second. She went ahead on Borza 3-1 in the third, but Borza managed to tie the score at 3-all. Vuckovic, though, responded by winning three games in a row to move to 12-4 on the season.
Casey fell to Jocic 6-1, 6-0, while Becker was defeat4d by McGavock 6-1, 6-3.
