Link Leskosky cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 win over Koren Fleming at No. 3 singles to help the College of Charleston women's tennis team to a 6-1 win over Charlotte at the College of Charleston Tennis Center at Patriots Point on Sunday.
The Cougars, who play host to N.C. State at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, improved 9-1 on the season. UNCC fell to 3-6.
After the Cougars claimed the doubles point, Chelsea Albertz beat Yudeshnee Pillay 6-3, 6-4 at No. 2 singles, Anna Lee Evans downed Candace Cunningham 6-0, 6-4 at No. 4 singles and Amanda Becker earned a 6-0, 7-5 win over Gabi Vergara at No. 5 singles.
