
CofC Women?s Tennis Knocks Off Georgetown, 6-1

ARLINGTON, VA. ? The College of Charleston women's tennis team defeated Georgetown, 6-1 on Friday at the Army-Navy Country Club in Arlington, Va.
After the Cougars picked up a team point by winning two of three doubles matches, Charleston won five of the six matches in singles to take the win.
Each of the five winners in singles won in straight sets, led in the number one spot by Link Leskosky (Macon, Ga.), who defeated Allie Shea 6-2, 6-4 and Holly Dowse (Tuncurry, Australia), who in the two spot had a commanding 6-0, 6-0 win over Michelle Brown.
The College of Charleston women's tennis team returns to action on Sunday, Feb. 23rd when they visit Richmond. Action begins at 11 a.m.
