
Cougars Conclude Competition in Shamrock Invitational

Senior Alyssa D'Orazio finished fourth in the 800-meter run, setting a new CofC school record for the event in 2:13.40.
Sophomore Dena O'Brien won the 3,000-meter run as she set the third-fastest time in school history, as she crossed the finish line in 9:45.37. O'Brien also finished second in the 1,500-meter run in 4:34.63, good for third best in school history.
Sophomore Christine Klinar finished 25th in the javelin competition as she recorded a mark of 33.87 meters (111-01 feet), the seventh-best mark in school history.
Senior Emily Smith finished third in the long jump with a leap of 5.22 meter, the 11th best mark in school history.
Up next the Cougars travel to Columbia, S.C. for the Weems Baskin Relays, March 23-24, hosted by South Carolina.
