
Fuenfstueck Tied For 11th at Bryan National Collegiate

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The College of Charleston women's golf team will look to make one final charge up the leaderboard tomorrow in the final round of the 18th Annual Bryan National Collegiate held at the Bryan Park Golf and Enrichment Center.
The Cougars currently sit in 14th with a two-round score of 311-313—624 (+48). No. 12-ranked Virginia and No. 13 Wake Forest are co-leaders shooting +23 after 36 holes. The average score in the second round was 78.73.
Sophomore Laura Fuenfstueck (Langen, Germany) shot 1-under par on her final nine finishing holes on Saturday to card a second-round 75. She is currently tied for 11th individually at +6 and made birdies on the 13th and 15th holes. Junior Mary Chandler Bryan (Chapin, S.C.), CofC's top finisher on Friday, is tied for 39th (+11).
“Congrats to Laura on another solid day in difficult conditions,” CofC Head Coach Jamie Futrell said. “We need to clean up some of our mistakes as a team to have a strong finish tomorrow.”
Virginia's Briana Mao, who is ranked No. 85 nationally, leads the field individually at even par.
The Cougars will be paired with North Carolina and GRU Augusta in tomorrow's final round, which will tee off with a 8:30 a.m. (ET) shotgun start. Live tournament scoring will be available at: www.Golfstat.com.
