
Cougars Stay In State for Clemson Invitational

SUNSET, S.C. - The College of Charleston women's golf team will return to action this weekend at the Clemson Invitational at The Reserve at Lake Keowee.
The Cougars are joined in the stacked field by host Clemson, #15 Vanderbilt, #4 Florida, Michigan State, UNCW, LSU, Princeton, Virginia Tech, Miami, Maryland, No. 8 Arkansas, Kent State, No. 17 Mississippi, Ohio State, and No. 20 Tennessee.
Charleston is coming off a T4 (+2) finish at the Briar's Creek Invitational, topping nine Power 4 programs including three ranked in the top 50 of the Clippd standings.
Carys Fennessy led Charleston with an individual T4 (-4) finish complete with a bogey free final round while leading the entire field in total pars. Her 69 in the opening round was the top Cougar score of the tournament. Fennessy earned her first career CAA Golfer of the Week honor for her performance. Adrian Anderson joined Fennessy in the top ten with a T8 (-2) finish in her last career home tournament.
