CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston Cougars hit the road this weekend for a pair of matches in the Sunshine State as they take on Florida A&M in Tallahassee, Fla. on Saturday, and then head to Daytona Beach to play the Wildcats of Bethune Cookman on Sunday.
CofC (1-1) will look to carry the momentum from their previous match against Spartanburg Methodist, where they swept the Pioneers 7-0 on Jan. 31.
Florida A&M (1-6) enters Saturday's 12:00 p.m. match looking for a win, after dropping their previous match against Stetson, 5-2. The Cougars most recently played against Florida A&M in 2015, sweeping them 7-0.
Bethune Cookman comes into their weekend series of matches with a record of 2-1 after defeating Div. II Embry-Riddle 5-4 on Feb. 3. The College last played Bethune Cookman in 2015, where the Cougars beat them 5-2.
Following their matches this weekend, the Cougars will come home for their first regular-season home match of the year against Presbyterian on Saturday, Feb. 13 at 10:00 a.m.
