Another Two-Day IHSA Show Ahead For Equestrians at Clemson

CHARLESTON, S.C. – For the second-straight weekend, the College of Charleston equestrian team will compete in another two-day show hosted by Clemson on Oct. 21 and 22 at Garrison Arena in Pendleton, S.C.
"It's been quite some time since we've had two doubleheaders on consecutive weekends," CofC Head Coach Bob Story said. "The short turnaround really had the team focused on getting ready for Clemson this week. I believe the team is mentally focused on their riding and performing without mistakes. If we can do that, we should have a great weekend."
Seventeen riders are entered in Saturday's competition including Elizabeth High, Jennifer Beare, Lauren Duffy, Ruby Gonzales, Jenna McIntosh, Gabrielle Bernier, Madison King, Sammie Barton, Sophia Meserve, Laura Crenshaw, Christina Hayden, Beverly Davis, Rio Parker, Shannon Rice, Katherine Driscoll, Hannah Showell and Avery Jackson.
Last year, the equestrians finished second in a one-day show hosted by Clemson. The Cougars placed fifth and second respectively at last weekend's two-day show at South Carolina.
Competing on Sunday will be Elizabeth High, Cassidy Hyatt, Jennifer Beare, Caroline McCully, Hannah Bentz, Molly Coyle, Kathleen Perry, Sammie Barton, Allison Bergmeyer, Olivia Moriarty, Olivia Baldwin, Gabrielle Bernier, Dorian Cieslak, Shannon Rice, Hannah Showell, Annie Kuniansky and Katherine Driscoll.
