Two Regattas on Slate for Cougars

CHARLESTON, S.C. --- The College of Charleston sailing team will compete in two regattas this weekend: Yale Women's on Saturday, October 20, and Sunday, October 21 in Stamford, Conn., and the Fiske-Harriman-Sleigh Trophy Coed Showcase on Saturday and Sunday in St. Mary's, Md.
Junior Alie Toppa (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) will skipper A-Division with senior crew of Annabel Carrington (White Stone, Va.) and Elizabeth Mignon (Bay Head, N.J.) at the Yale Women's. Junior skipper Liza Toppa (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) will sail in B-Division with a crew compliment of sophomore Marian Williams (Sai Kung, Hong Kong, China) and senior Caroline Bracken (Bridgewater, Mass.).
At the Fiske-Harriman-Sleigh Trophy, senior Augie Dale (Pewaukee, Wis.) will skipper A-Division with junior crew Katie Lounsbury (Jensen Beach, Fla.). Sophomore skipper Jack Brown (Newtown Square, Pa.) is slated to sail in B-Division with a crew rotation of sophomore Mary Morano (Edgartown, Mass.) and senior Carter Cameron (Mt. Pleasant, S.C.). Junior Steven Leuck (San Diego, Calif.) will skipper C-Division alongside a crew of senior Payton Alexander and sophomore Oliver Parsons (Stonington, Conn.).
