Alie Toppa (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) paced the women's team to a third-place finish at the Yale Women's to highlight another solid weekend for the Cougars.
Charleston placed third out of 14 teams at the always challenging Yale Women's in Stamford, Conn., finishing the two-day regatta with 116 points to edge out fourth-place Harvard by one point. Junior skipper

Annabel Carrington (White Stone, Va.) finished second in A-Division with 42 points following race wins in the first and third rotations.
Liza Toppa (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) skippered the Cougars to 74 points and a seventh-place finish in B-Division alongside the crew tandem of seniors

Elizabeth Mignon (Bay Head, N.J.).
The Cougars turned in a seventh-place finish at the Fiske-Harriman-Sleigh Trophy Coed Showcase on Saturday and Sunday in St. Mary's, Md. against many of the top coed teams in the nation. Charleston finished the regatta with 301 points – two behind sixth-place Boston College and 13 ahead of eighth-place Brown. The Cougars will set sail in a pair of championship regattas next weekend in Jacksonville, Fla., where they will compete in the SAISA Fall Women's Championship on Saturday, October 27, and the SAISA Fall Coed Championship on Sunday, October 28.
