
Baliker Turns In Career-Best Finish at The Intercollegiate at The Grove

COLLEGE GROVE, Tenn. – College of Charleston junior Christian Baliker (Greenville, S.C.) fired a 2-under par 70 on the final day of tournament play to turn in a career-best finish at The Intercollegiate at The Grove on Tuesday.
Baliker, who has started in each of the team's three fall tournament appearances, matched his first-round red score with birdies on the 2nd, 7th, 11th, 14th and 18th holes to finish as the Cougars' top finisher. He tied for 11th shooting 2-under par for the tournament (70-74-70—214).
Junior Hunter Dunagan (Augusta, Ga.) shot a second-round 72 as CofC tied Kentucky for eighth on the team leaderboard with a three-round score of 883 (+19). Dunagan and junior Michael Sass (Louisville, Ky.) tied for 30th individually (+4).
Liberty claimed top honors with an 849 (-15) followed by USF in second (-12), Purdue in third (-11), Louisville in fourth (-4), Ole Miss in fifth (+6), Kennesaw State in sixth (+7) and Cincinnati in seventh (+11).
The Cougars will close out the fall season at the CSU East Bay Deli Classic hosted by Charleston Southern on Nov. 4-6 at the Kiawah Island Golf Resort's Turtle Point course on Kiawah Island, S.C.
