Cougars Take on Blue Hens on the Road Sunday

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston women's basketball team (6-19, 2-12) will close out the final game of a three-game road trip on Sunday when they head to Delaware to take on the Blue Hens (15-9, 8-5) at 1 p.m. in the Bob Carpenter Center.
CofC split their two road contests last weekend, defeating UNCW before falling to Elon. Tanisha Brown had an excellent game against the Seahawks, nearly pulling down her first career triple double with a 15-15-9, adding three blocks for good measure.
The Cougars and Blue Hens will meet for the 11th time on record on Sunday. Delaware has an 8-2 record against CofC, and has won the last six straight encounters.
The two teams met earlier this year in TD Arena, resulting in a 68-59 win for UD. Since then, the Blue Hens have gone 6-4 in conference play, most recently falling 56-53 at home against James Madison. Junior forward Nicole Enabosi is UD's most important player, as she leads the CAA in both scoring and rebounding with an 18-12 average.
