CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston Women's Basketball is set to play host to North Carolina Central on Friday, Nov. 15 with tip-off scheduled for 6:30 p.m. The game will be broadcasted on FloSports.
Last Outing
CofC comfortably took down Coker on Tuesday, Nov. 12 by a score of 82-57. Four different Cougars scored in double figures with sophomore Latrice Perkins leading the way with 18 points while adding in six rebounds. Freshmen Taylor Williams and Madison Taylor each scored a season-high with 14 and 13 points, respectively, while both collecting three steals apiece. Senior Deja Ford recorded 11 points while shooting a perfect 6-6 from the stripe in only 15 minutes played. The Cougars forced 33 turnovers which tied the most in a game since 2010 when CofC took down Wofford.

The Eagles come into the game losing their only game played against Winthrop by a score of 56-46. NC Central finished with nine wins in each of its last two seasons, including a 5-11 record in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) last season. Head Coach Trisha Stafford-Odom is in the midst of her third season at the helm of the program. Stafford-Odom led the Eagles to their first NCAA Division I postseason win to cap her second season at NCCU in 2018-19. The ninth-seeded Eagles upset eighth-seeded Delaware State University, 80-64, in the first round of the 2019 MEAC Tournament for the historic program victory.
