RICHMOND, Va. – For the third time of his career, College of Charleston senior Hunter Dunagan (Augusta, Ga.) earned a nod as Colonial Athletic Association Men's Golfer of the Week as announced by the conference office on Thursday.
He led the Cougars to a runner-up finish at the Kiawah Classic at Turtle Point on Nov. 3-5, behind his own runner-up individual finish at 10-under par with rounds of 68, 72 and 66—206. Dunagan shot a near bogey-free round with birdies on six of his last nine holes of the tournament. He fired a season-low, final-round 6-under 66 to finish three shots shy of individual medalist and No. 88-ranked Jovan Rebula of Auburn.
In its fall season finale, CofC carded a final-round 274 to move past Augusta into second on the team leaderboard at 16-under par (848) behind No. 24-ranked Auburn at the Kiawah Island Golf Resort's Turtle Point course on Kiawah Island, S.C.
