CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston Women's Basketball begin its first road stint with a matchup against Wake Forest on Friday, Nov. 8 with tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m. ET at LJVM Coliseum.
Last Outing
CofC was defeated by George Mason in its season opener on Nov. 6 by a score of 72-61. Sophomore Latrice Perkins recorded her first career double-double with career highs in points and rebounds (26/13). Senior Deja Ford put up double-digit points with 15 while freshman Nia Covington poured in 13 points and also snagged seven rebounds in her collegiate debut. Overall, six different Cougars got on the board for The College.

Scouting Wake Forest
Wake Forest finished the 2018-19 season with an overall record of 10-20 and a 1-15 record in conference play. It finished the season on a 10-game losing streak. The Demon Deacons enter the game with a 1-0 record, with its most recent matchup resulting in a 65-55 win over UNCW in their season opener.
Head Coach Jen Hoover is in the midst of her eighth season at the helm of the program. Throughout her entire coaching tenure, she has posted a 109-117 overall record and in her seven years at her alma mater, she has logged an overall record of 99-124.
