CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston Women's Basketball returns home after a 15-day break to host UNCG on Monday, Dec. 16 with tip-off scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at TD Arena.
Last Outing
CofC held off Winthrop's late push and earned its fifth win of the season by a score of 84-73. A back-and-forth affair ended with CofC knocking down shots late in the fourth, including clutch free throws, to keep the Eagles from making a late comeback. Sophomore Tyler Collins led the way for the Cougars as she scored a career-high 29 points while shooting 67% from the field and 50% from deep. Collins, along with sophomore Latrice Perkins who scored 29 points earlier in the season, are the only players to score at least 29 points in a single game since 2015. Senior Deja Ford added in a season-high 25 points as well, while adding five rebounds and four assists. Perkins is the only other Cougar to score in double-digits with 14 points while also snagging five rebounds and logging five steals.

Head Coach Trina Patterson is in the midst of her fourth season at the helm of the program. During her tenure, Patterson has had six All-Southern Conference and two all-freshmen selections while the Spartans have reached double-digit wins in each season.
The team is led by Nadine Soliman, Te'ja Twitty and Aja Boyd. Soliman leads the Spartans in points per game with 19.2, while Twitty and Boyd average 12.2 and 11.5, respectively. All three of them are shooting at least 48.5% or higher from the field while Soliman also shoots 46.8% from deep.
