CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston Women's Basketball returns home from the holiday break to close out non-conference play as it faces off against Western Carolina with tip-off scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at TD Arena.
Last Outing
The College took down Charleston Southern in a lowcountry showdown on Dec. 20 by a score of 79-70 to earn its sixth win of the season. Senior Deja Ford led all scorers with 24 points while also adding in an impressive seven rebounds, five assists and four steals stat line. Sophomores Tyler Collins and Latrice Perkins also poured in 17 and 10 points, respectively. In addition to Perkins' 10 points, she added six rebounds, five assists and four steals. Senior Baileigh Larson provided a huge spark off the bench by logging seven points, six rebounds and two steals while playing a career-high 26 minutes. The largest lead of the game for the Cougars was 18 points at the 2:46 mark of the fourth quarter.
