CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston women's basketball play host to Delaware and Drexel this weekend in game 14 and 15 of the Colonial Athletic Association season.
The Cougars and Blue Hens face off on Friday evening with tip set for 6:35 p.m., live on the Charleston Sports Network.
QUOTABLE – HEAD COACH CANDICE M. JACKSON
"Friday's going to be a good matchup against Delaware… We started out slowly against them in the first game [74-50 loss on Jan. 27], they were up around 12 before we kind of got into our groove and started to play our game… It's important for us to start out alert and ready to play… Our big issue all season has been to sustain a lead when we get one, or the energy we play with to get back into a game – to keep going and getting over that hump… Darien [Huff] and Deja [Ford], I'm really looking forward to them having breakout games back on our home floor in-front of our fans… We've started a four-guard lineup for a while, it's really worked out for us in terms of an energy standpoint, allowing us to be more aggressive defensively… I think that's what we need to focus on against Delaware, starting out really well, having good energy on the defensive end and getting our scorers the balls in the right positions."
