KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – Junior Anna-Theresa Rottluff (Dusseldorf, Germany) earned a spot on the all-tournament team as No. 44-ranked College of Charleston placed two teams in the Top 10 on the final day of the 49-team Kiawah Island Spring Classic – the largest collegiate tournament in the country – held over the course of three days at the Kiawah Island Golf Resort.

Rottluff's final round included birdies on the 8th, 12th, 13th and 18th at the par-72 Osprey Point course. She carded rounds of 73, 70 and 71 to finish at 2-under par for the tournament and tied for fifth in field of 254 players. It marked her third Top-5 finish of the season.

Her score carried the Cougars' "A" team to a sixth-place finish with a three-round score of 877 (+13). Junior Victoria Huskey (Greenville, S.C.) also contributed a final-round 68 with six birdies, sophomore Clarissa von Stosch (Kassel, Germany) a 1-under 71 and junior Savanah Goodman (Easley, S.C.) a 1-over 73 on the final day of tournament play.

"We had a great round today, but we were two far behind after the first two days," CofC Head Coach Jamie Futrell said. "Hopefully, this final round will give us some momentum going into a really tough tournament at the University of Florida next week."

Senior Isi Nilsson (Santiago, Chile) was CofC's second top finisher tied for 13th individually to lead the Cougars' "B" team to an eighth-place finish (+18). Nilsson turned in rounds of 70, 75 and 71 to finish at even-par for the tournament. Sophomore Jodee Tindal (Rock Hill, S.C.) and freshman Kirsty Brodie (Blairgowrie, Scotland) tied for 45th at +7.

"Overall, I was pleased with the final day scores," Futrell said. "Congrats to Anna (Rottluff) on earning a spot on the all-tournament team. Congrats to Victoria (Huskey) on the bounce back with a 68 today and congrats to Isi (Nilsson) for playing well throughout this tournament."

Coastal Carolina and North Florida were both crowned tournament champions with a three-round score of 865 (+1) followed by third-place Tulsa (+8), fourth-place Delaware (+10) and fifth-place South Florida (+11). Sydney Shrader of UNF was the individual medalist shooting 9-under par with rounds of 72, 68 and 67.
