SOUTHPORT, N.C. – For the second-straight year, College of Charleston junior Victoria Huskey (Greenville, S.C.) was the individual runner-up at the Colonial Athletic Association Women's Golf Championship – one shot shy of the title after carding a final-round 75 on Sunday at The Reserve Club at St. James Plantation.
Huskey's lone birdie during the round was on the back nine on the par-4 11th. She finished at 8-over par for the tournament behind individual medalist Phu Khine of UNCW (+7). It was her third Top 3-or-better finish this season and second career nod on the CAA All-Tournament Team. Last year, she finished 8-over par and runner-up to Lyberty Anderson of UNCW.
Sophomore Jodee Tindal (Rock Hill, S.C.) also turned in a Top-10 finish for the Cougars with a final-round 74 with a birdie on the par-5 17th. She placed eighth overall (+14) in the 40-player tournament field. It was her first start and appearance at the CAA Championship after transferring a year ago from Mercer.
