HOW IT HAPPENED
- Northeastern started the game on a 4-0 run before Perkins knocked down a triple to make it 4-3.
- The Huskies finished the first quarter on a 9-2 run to give them an eight-point lead.
- Senior Baileigh Larson sparked a 10-2 run with back-to-back buckets on the low block and tied the game at 19-19 at the 5:34 mark of the second quarter.
- Dorsey sunk a three pointer at the 4:22 mark of the second to give the Cougars their first lead of the game (22-21).
- An 8-0 run by Northeastern to start the third was halted by a Collins three-point play at the 7:24 mark.
- Northeastern took its largest lead of the night, 17 points, at the 8:46 mark of the fourth, but CofC stormed back with a 24-6 run to cut the lead to just two points with just a minute to left to play.
- The last minute of play saw back-and-forth buckets by both teams, including four made free throws by the Huskies.
