CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston Women's Basketball looks to keep its momentum as it plays host to Delaware on Sunday, Jan. 5 with tip-off scheduled for 1 p.m. at TD Arena.
Last Outing
The College took down took down Drexel in the CAA opener by a score of 73-59 at home. This marked the first time since joining the league in 2013 that the Cougars have gone 1-0 in conference play. Three Cougars notched double digit points, with senior Deja Ford leading the way with 19 points. Sophomores Tyler Collins and Latrice Perkins poured in 16 and 10, respectively. Senior Cailin Dorsey played valuable minutes off the bench, scoring nine points on a perfect 3/3 shooting from deep. Sophomore Arynn Eady almost snatched a double-double with nine points and 12 boards, as well. CofC's largest lead of the night was 15 points, which occurred twice throughout the game.

Delaware enters the game with an overall record of 4-8. In its most recent matchup, the Blue Hens fell to UNCW by a score of 71-65 in OT that made them fall to 0-1 in conference play. The Blue Hens have lost three of their last five games.
Head Coach Natasha Adair is in the midst of her third season at the helm of the program. In her first season in charge of the program, she guided Delaware to its most wins (19) and first post season appearance since 2013. The former College of Charleston head coach (2012-14) has made one WNIT tournament with the Blue Hens and has an overall record of 35-28.
The team is led by Nicole Enabosi, Kayla Shaw and Jasmine Dickey who average 16.3, 14.0 and 11.6 points per game, respectively.
