HEAD COACH ROBIN HARMONY (15-19 in second years at CofC; 261-133 in 14 years overall)
Robin Harmony is in her second season at CofC after leading the Cougars to a 13-17 record in 2019-20, a six-win improvement over the previous season and the most wins since going 19-15 in 2013-14. The team also doubled its CAA win total from three to six, including a 73-59 victory over Drexel, one of only two CAA losses suffered by the eventual conference co-champions.
Harmony was 131-48 in six seasons at St. Thomas (Fla.) and 115-66 in six seasons at Lamar before coming to CofC. She began her coaching career as an assistant at Fairleigh Dickinson in 1987-88 and was on the staff at her alma mater, the University of Miami, from 1988-2005.
COUGARS DOWN WINTHROP IN LAST OUTING
The backcourt duo of Tyler Collins and Tyler Gray combined for 38 points and 13 assists to lead CofC to an 89-59 win over Winthrop on Tuesday. Collins scored 22 points, including four 3-pointers, and had six assists while Gray tallied 16 points to go along with seven assists, both season bests for the freshman.
Chelsea Wooten also had four 3-pointers and scored 16 points, and Arynn Eady was the fourth Cougar in double digits with 11 points and led the team with nine rebounds, reaching the 500 mark in career rebounds in the process.
The Cougars trailed early but outscored the Eagles by 33 points over the middle two quarters. CofC went on a 28-6 run in the second quarter for a 39-26 halftime lead and tallied 28 more points in the third quarter to blow the game open.
30-POINT MARGIN RANKS AMONG MOST LOPSIDED OF PAST 15 YEARS
The 89-59 win over Winthrop marked the largest margin of victory over a Division I opponent since a 76-37 win over UNCG on January 8, 2017. It was the 11th time the Cougars have won by at least 30 points over the past 15 seasons.

Freshman Chelsea Wooten has already established herself as a 3-point threat, leading the Cougars with 11 makes and 31 attempts. Wooten has made four from behind the arc and reached double figures in scoring twice, including 14 against Wofford and a season-high 16 against Winthrop.
ABOUT NC WESLEYAN (First meeting between the two schools)
The Battling Bishops are 2-0 with wins over Mid-Atlantic Christian and a 52-37 upset over UNCG last Monday. They played High Point in an exhibition game (lost, 108-71) and today's game is also slated as an exhibition for NC Wesleyan.
Myrayna Watkins leads the Battling Bishops with 22 points and 20 rebounds in their two counting games. Javana Jones had 16 rebounds and Kayrisma Harrison added nine rebounds and seven blocked shots in the win over the Spartans.
EADY REACHES CAREER REBOUNDING MILESTONE
Junior forward Arynn Eady pulled down nine rebounds in the win over Winthrop, including the 500th of her career. She enters today's contest with 501 in 64 games and needs 69 more to move into the Top 10 in school history. Her average of 7.8 rpg is fourth in the Cougar record book.
Eady averaged 9.7 rpg last season to lead the CAA, and her 290 total boards are the second most in a season in school history. Her 18 rebounds against UNCW (1/26/20) and William & Mary (2/7/20) are tied for the fourth most in program history.
COLLINS DISHES OUT THE ASSISTS
Junior guard Tyler Collins has recorded six assists in each of the past three games to increase her career total to 232, and she needs only 22 more to crack the Top 10 at CofC. As a freshman in 2018-19, Collins had 131 assists, the sixth most in a season in school history, and ranked third in the CAA with 4.4 apg. She tied the school mark with 12 assists in her collegiate debut vs. North Greenville.
Collins has also been hot from 3-point distance over the past two games, making 7 of 14 including 4 of 6 in the win over Winthrop. She is the active career leader at CofC with 76 3-pointers, 16 more than Madison Taylor.
COUGARS LAND OUTSTANDING RECRUITING CLASS
The CofC coaching landed the top recruiting class in school history, ranking first in the CAA and No. 47 in the nation according to the Dan Olson Collegiate Girls Basketball Report. The Cougars added wing Grace Abercrombie and point guard Bria McClure from Texas and wing Anani Humphrey from Maryland. Abercrombie was ranked No. 162 by Dan Olson, McClure was No. 187 and Humphrey was No. 209.
