CHARLESTON, S.C. --- Helena Huff (Midlothian, Va.) has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend the College of Charleston and join the Cougars' women's tennis program in the fall of 2021, announced head coach Angelo Anastopoulo on Friday.
"We have been impressed with Helena throughout the recruiting process," said Anastopoulo. "She has the reputation of being a great fighter who thrives off of competition. That mindset combined with her athletic style of play will be an asset for us over the next four years."
Huff joins the Cougars from Collegiate School in Richmond, Va. where she was named All-State Player of the Year in 2018 and All-Metro Player of the Year in 2019. The Midlothian, Va. native is a four-star recruit that has been ranked as high as No. 66 in the 2021 recruiting class. She led Collegiate School to a state championship in 2018 and is a two-time All-State honoree who achieved a No. 1 ranking in the state of Virginia in both the 14 and under, and 16 and under age divisions.
