
Cougars to Set Sail On Jam Packed Weekend

CHARLESTON, S.C. --- Another busy weekend awaits the College of Charleston sailing team with four regattas on the schedule including the Charleston Coed on Saturday and Sunday at the J. Stewart Walker Sailing Complex.
The dinghy team will also set sail at the Navy Spring Women's on Saturday and Sunday in Annapolis, Md. as well as the Rudkin Team Race on Saturday and Sunday in St. Petersburg, Fla. Charleston's offshore team will look to defend its title at the Port of Los Angeles Harbor Cup Friday through Sunday in Los Angeles, Calif.
Patrick Shannon will skipper A-Division for the Cougars at the Charleston Coed with crews Anna Cornetta and Max Williams splitting time on the gunwale. Patrick Eaton is slated to skipper B-Division alongside crews Kaili Yap and Peter Barron. The duos of skipper Nicole Simon and junior crew Hannah Kinder along with Kiera O'Reardon and Roxanne Snyder will comprise a second lineup for the Cougars should the opportunity present itself.
Driver Jordan Wiggins will lead the charge for the Cougars at the Harbor Cup with a crew consisting of main William Comerford, primary Sam Tobio, secondary Chance Slack, pit Emily Potter, squirrel Caroline Williams, mast Graham Post, bow Burke Anvari and alternate Skye Ehrhart.
Senior Alie Toppa will skipper A-Division at the Navy Spring Women's with a crew compliment of Katie Lounsbury and Julia Jeffries. Junior Marian Williams skipper is slated to sail in B-Division with crews Natasha Scott-Morton and Emily Essi.
The duos of Jack Brown and Anna Sherry, Steven Leuck and Noelle Owen, and Max Mayol and Hunter Skinner will represent the Cougars at the Rudkin Team Race along with alternate Oliver Parsons.
