College of Charleston SAAC Officers to Participate in CAA Meeting

Charleston, S.C. – Three rising seniors who are newly-elected Student-Athlete Advisory Committee officers at the College of Charleston will be part of the CAA's virtual SAAC meeting on June 25.
Participating in the meeting will be cross country/track and field athlete Eileen Vedder (president), softball player Kylie Burke (co-vice president) and soccer player Naya Boualany (social media director and secretary).
The meeting will focus on issues that directly affect student-athletes, including institutional practices, campus updates and NCAA matters. They will also have the opportunity to engage in discussions with Faculty Athletics Representatives from each of the schools in the CAA.
"The CAA SAAC Summit is a wonderful opportunity for our leaders to discuss relevant topics related to the NCAA and CAA with others in the conference," said Keri McGee, associate director of student-athlete academic services. "It allows our CofC athletic voice to be heard for the betterment of the student-athlete experience."
