LOUISVILLE, KY. – Cate Ambrose and Jack Wedge took the top spot among College of Charleston runners at the NCAA Southeast Regional on Friday at Tom Sawyer Park in Louisville.

LOUISVILLE, KY. – Cate Ambrose and Jack Wedge took the top spot among College of Charleston runners at the NCAA Southeast Regional on Friday at Tom Sawyer Park in Louisville.
Ambrose posted a time of 22:29.3 on the 6k course to finish as the No. 1 Cougar runner for the seventh time in as many meets this fall. Wedge paced CofC for the fifth time this season, covering the 10k distance in 33:33.8.
Kristen Cherry was second on the team with a time of 22:49.6 followed by Emily Dorony (23:07.6), Rhian Purves (23:12.9) and Sophia Brown (23:23.6). Rounding out the Cougar women were Morgan Summey (23:32.4) and Isabel Muehleman (24:50.6).
Ryan Moosbrugger had his top finish of the year, taking second among his teammates with a time of 34:08.3. Also scoring for the Cougars were Dylan McTigue (34:21.1), Hammer Blair (34:42.1) and Jackson Reid (34:59.5). Nick Rienzo (35:05.4) and Josh Keifer (39:44.5) also ran for CofC.
