CHARLESTON, S.C. -- The College of Charleston women's basketball team (5-3, 0-0) closed out the game in the final minutes to grab a 75-68 road win over UNCG (3-6, 0-0). The Cougars are now 4-0 on the road this season.

First Half

The game got out to a fast start, with both squads playing at a frenetic pace
The Spartans led for the almost all of the first quarter, but never by more than five points
Latrice Perkins scored seven points in the opening period as the Cougars and UNCG were tied at 20-20 after one quarter
