Cougars Host Bob Bavier Team Race Invitational This Weekend

CHARLESTON, S.C. --- The College of Charleston sailing team is set to continue its 2020-21 season this weekend when the Cougars host the Bob Bavier Team Race Invitational on Saturday and Sunday at the J. Stewart Walker Complex.

The Cougars will field two teams in the team race event. Seniors Jack Brown, Paris Henken and Benn Smith will skipper for the College with junior Jack Sutton and seniors Hunter Skinner and Peter Barron crewing. Sophomore Noelle Owen and senior Hannah Kinder will serve as alternates for the coed team.

Seniors Marian Williams and Kelly-Ann Arrindell and junior Kiera O'Reardon will skipper for the Cougars' women's team with sophomores Roxanne Snyder and Julia Jeffries and freshman Cara Samson crewing. Sophomore Anna Sherry and freshman Grace Squires will serve as alternates for the women's team.
