Cougars Head to Wilmington For UNCW Invitational

CHARLESTON, S.C. --- The College of Charleston beach volleyball team will head north to Wilmington, N.C. to participate in the UNCW Invitational on Saturday and Sunday. The Cougars will face off with the Seahawks on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in the only countable match of the weekend before participating in the pairs tournament on Sunday.

LAST TIME OUT
The Cougars went 1-1-1 at the CofC Invitational last weekend with a win over UNCW and a not often seen 2-2 tie with Jacksonville due to a temporarily shortened roster.

THE OPPONENT
UNCW comes into the weekend with a 3-8 record after falling to Coastal Carolina, 3-2, last Sunday at the CofC Invitational.

NOTABLES

The Cougars are looking get back into the win column after falling to Coastal Carolina in the final match of the CofC Invitational last Sunday.
Ella Reames and Maria Zweig lead the way for the Cougars with an 11-4 record on the season.
