
Charleston Treks to Navy This Weekend

CHARLESTON, S.C. --- The College of Charleston sailing team will travel to Annapolis, Md. for the Navy Spring Regatta on Saturday and Sunday.
The Cougars will put six boats on the water for a fleet race event on Saturday morning. Jack Brown, Paris Henken, Pierce Ornstein, Marian Williams and Taylor Hasson will skipper for the Cougars with Jack Howard and Max Anker switching off as the final skipper. The Cougars will sail Noelle Owen, Lucy Klempen, Anna Sherry, Roxanne Snyder, Chloe Hudgins and Peter Baron as crews with Jack Sutton, Hunter Skinner and Hannah Kinder traveling as alternate/ heavy air crews.
Charleston will send two teams out on the water for a team race event that will start on Saturday afternoon and finish on Sunday. Brown, Henken and Skinner will skipper for the first CofC team with Owen, Klempen and Sherry crewing, and Sutton and Kinder as alternate crews.
The second Charleston team will consist of skippers Ornstein, Anker and Taylor Hasson with Snyder, Barron and Hudgins as crews. Howard and Williams will serve as alternate skippers.
