
Hund, Dunlap Pace Cougars in Opening Round of NCAA Regional

SIMPSONVILLE, KY. – Viktoria Hund posted a score of 75, one better than Emily Dunlap, to pace the College of Charleston women's golf team in the first round of the NCAA Louisville Regional.
Victoria Huskey and Othilie Lied were another shot back at 77 followed by Jodee Tindal at 78. The Cougars had a team score of 305 (+17) and are in 16th place with two rounds remaining at the University of Louisville Golf Club.
Hund recorded a pair of birdies on the front nine and made the turn at even-par 36. Dunlap had a strong finish to her round with a birdie at 14, her second of the day, and four straight pars.
Huskey had a team-high four birdies, including two of the final three holes. Lied stood at even through eight holes and finished her day with a birdie at 15 and three pars.
Florida State is the team leader at 286, five shots ahead of UCLA. Amelia Williamson of FSU and Emilie Paltrinieri of UCLA are the individual leaders at 4-under par 68.
