Two Regattas on Docket for Cougars

CHARLESTON, S.C. --- The College of Charleston sailing team has two regattas on the docket this weekend as the dinghy team heads to New London, Conn. for the Coed Atlantic Coast Dinghy Championship on Saturday and Sunday while the offshore squad travels to Annapolis, Md. to compete at the McMillan Cup.

Benjamin Dufour is slated to skipper A-Division for Charleston at the Coed Atlantic Coast Dinghy Championship with Noelle Owen at crew. Freshman Noah Zittrer and junior Lucy Klempen will represent the Cougars in B-Division.

Sims Whalen will be the driver for the Cougars at the McMillan Cup with Sean Groskoph at main, Megan Fetterley (day one) and Julianna Corso (day two) at primary trim, Braden Johnson at secondary trim, Kate Schmiege at pit, Sam Rosenbaum at squirrel, Evan Chenard at mast and Caroline Williams at bow. John McCarthy will also travel as an extra crew.
