
Cougars Fall at Oregon

EUGENE, ORE. – College of Charleston completed its non-conference slate Sunday with a 97-33 loss to No. 16 Oregon at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene.
Jada Logan hit three 3-pointers and scored 13 points while grabbing six rebounds, and Jazmyn Stone joined her in double figures with 11 points. Adaora Onwumelu paced the Cougars (5-5) with a career-high 11 boards including six on the offensive glass.
Te-Hina Paopao, Endyia Rogers and Ahlise Hurst each tallied 15 points for the Ducks (9-1). Oregon shot 58.6 percent from the floor and was 15-of-30 from long distance.
The Cougars are off until December 29 when they open CAA play at Towson. Charleston is back at TD Arena on New Year's Day for a 2 p.m. game against conference newcomer NC A&T.
